Overview
Ovation Center for Music and Arts — Presented by MSUFCU is a transformative venue coming to Downtown Lansing in fall 2026. With a two-story main stage for more than 2,000 patrons and a second performance area for intimate shows, the Ovation will host large-scale concerts, events and more. Creative resources like multi-purpose rooms and studios through the Lansing Public Media Center will make the Ovation a hub for culture, connection and creativity in all of its forms. Timeline
- Summer 2023: Public groundbreaking
- Spring 2024: Construction began at the existing building portion, 520 S. Washington Ave. (future site of the Lansing Public Media Center)
- Sept. 2024: Final architectural plans and brand announcement
- Spring 2025: Construction will begin on the rest of the Ovation, beyond the existing structure portion
- Early 2026: Ticket sales will begin
- Fall 2026: Grand opening and first show
